Java painkiller

There are times when there occurs a shakeup. Such is that time for Java. Whether Java will survive is hard to tell. It certainly needed a security bolster but now that it has arrived can the applications themselves survive the shakeup?

Prior to the release of the new versions of Java (as described by Oracle’s advisory), Amristar provided an iDelve advisory. This latter page links to where our support advice on signing Applets is being developed.

As the release has progressed it has become further complicated and has required further considerations. These further considerations and thoughts to how Java Applet developers can resolve these challenges is provided through this posting:

Keen to hear of any other solutions or ideas.
